Expect Tanla Solutions to do well: Harit Shah

(My Original Blog Post: http://www.onlineequitycalls.com/2008/12/expect-tanla-solutions-to-do-well-harit-shah/)
Harit Shah of Angel Broking expects Tanla Solutions to do quite well going forward. Over the next 4-5 years one should expect data revenues to pick up so this a pretty scalable business.

"Tanla Solutions is into a pretty scalable business, they are basically focused on the mobile non-voice space so globally while voice revenues are falling for mobile operators particularly developing countries where the penetration rates are higher and the subscriber growth is slow, data ratios are still raising for companies like Vodafone so that is one area where they are looking to capitalize and they have done a good job so far, they have relationship with major operators like Vodafone, O2 and so on, so that boasts quite well, they have expanded recently into countries like Spain, South Africa, US and also India so India with a 3G auction scheduled quite shortly and over the next 4-5 years we should expect data revenues to pick up so this a pretty scalable business, there is good profitability also so we do expect this company to do quite well going forward."

Buy Indian Hotels Company: PN Vijay

(My Original Blog Post: http://www.onlineequitycalls.com/2008/12/buy-indian-hotels-company-pn-vijay/)
Investment Advisior, PN Vijay is of the view that Indian Hotels Company on a three year time frame would be a perfect blue chip buy.

"Indian Hotels Company is an asset rich company and at some stage it should find its feet, especially with the rupee depreciating and high percentage of income coming from foreign exchange. So Indian Hotels on a three year time frame would be a perfect blue chip buy next 6 months are going to be tough, purely because of sentiment and enough has been said the hospitality industry would be the worst affected. So short-term probably it will hang around these levels because of asset richness and in a three-year time frame is an excellent buy."

Exit Kingfisher Airlines between Rs 32-35: Bhambwani

(My Original Blog Post: http://www.onlineequitycalls.com/2008/12/exit-kingfisher-airlines-between-rs-32-35-bhambwani/)
Technical Analyst, Vijay Bhambwani is of the view that one should exit Kingfisher Airlines between Rs 32-35 price band and sell on advances.

"These stocks are wealth destroyers the ray of hope for cheaper ATF is like cutting your arm off and applying a band-aid to it, it’s merely going to give an adrenaline shot to a dying horse; you can flagellate a dying horse as much as you want to but you cant win the race so I don’t think these are stocks that are likely to be outperforming or even performing in tandem with the headline indices in the couple of years, as far as specific levels are concerned Rs 22 is the support level for Kingfisher, on the upside, Rs 32-35 band is what I would see in a gung hoe scenario, I would love to exit from the stock at Rs 32-35 band and sell on advances."

Siemens may go up to Rs 247: Gujral

(My Original Blog Post: http://www.onlineequitycalls.com/2008/12/siemens-may-go-up-to-rs-247-gujral/)
Technical Analyst, Ashwani Gujral is of the view that Siemens Rs 200-210 seems to be strong support and on a pullback it may go up to Rs 247 and then probably Rs 300.

"Siemens Rs 200-210 seems to be strong support and on a pullback it may go up to Rs 247 and then probably Rs 300. But if you get a couple of good days on such stocks you need to take some profits off."

Realty stocks can give good returns: Tulsian

(My Original Blog Post: -*http://www.onlineequitycalls.com/2008/12/realty-stocks-can-give-good-returns-tulsian/)
Investment Advisor, SP Tulsian is of the view that if one has 2 year holding vision, realty stocks can give good returns.

"If one take the call on all realty stocks, they are all virtually ruling at 5-10% off their peak, I am not trying to say that the peak was justified but if one see the erosion having taken place in the valuation of all these stocks, I do not think - yes there are some leverage concern, there are some repayment problems but the land has not got vanished."

He further added, "If they had the land in the form of SEZ or maybe in tier III cities, I would have practically valued them at zero, I wouldn’t have taken them at all into the valuation but if they have the land bank maybe in tier I and tier II cities, which has been the case with most of these realty companies which you have named or whether we talk of the top-10 companies, I do not think that these kind of valuations are justified."

"Definitely there is lull in the realty market, things are going to remain quite low for the next six-twelve months in terms of even achieving the topline or even achieving the volume but I think sooner or later they will bounce back. So as I have said that probably if you have a call of two years on Indian Hotel probably the same parameters or same theory is applied for realty stocks also if you have that kind of holding vision for these stocks of at least twenty-four months probably they can give you a very good value. But on a concentrated basis you may not expect or may not get any return for next twelve months but yes thereafter bunch the return will come in one go maybe after twelve-eighteen months."

Unitech a good buy for long term: PN Vijay

(My Original Blog Post: http://www.onlineequitycalls.com/2008/12/unitech-a-good-buy-for-long-term-pn-vijay/)
Investment Advisior, PN Vijay is of the view that Unitech could be a good buy for long term.

"There are enough clever people in the market now, who are looking at stocks like Unitech- they did that in 2001, I remember, and made huge profit. People going to a Unitech and say, okay I am going to buy 20 lakh of Unitech and not look at it for three years, it will be 100. Unitech is a fantastic brand name, very good property, lots and lots of trouble due to finance, may even get taken over etc but here is a nice piece of value sitting there, which has extreme potential and very bad times and ideal times for bargain hunters."

He further added, "JP Associates, its problems are too diversified and GVK Power is not in the same league as these two I feel. So, Unitech purely due to long-term bargain hunting could be a great buy."
